Independesk files for insolvency
Sophie Deistler | 22.11.2022In the next three months, Independesk wants to find new backers and develop a long-term business concept.
The start-up Independesk has filed for insolvency. Insolvency proceedings have been underway since November 10 to help the start-up find new backers and develop a long-term business concept. According to information from Gründerszene there have already been talks with interested parties.
As a reason for the insolvency, Independesk founder Karsten Kossatz tells Gründerszene that a financing round did not materialize. Due to the current economic conditions, the business also developed differently than expected.
Karsten Kossatz founded Independesk during the corona pandemic in Berlin. The associated app went online on September 15, 2020. Employees of companies can book workstations, offices and meeting rooms by the hour at 1,700 locations in Germany and Switzerland via the start-up. This allows companies to save office space and employees to avoid commuting. During an appearance on the start-up TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen," Carsten Maschmeyer and Georg Kofler invested 200,000 euros in Independesk.
