Innfactory builds software for corona vaccination centers

A Rosenheim start-up has built the Cotema appointment scheduling software for Bavarian vaccination centers.
Three Bavarian districts will use the Cotema software from IT start-up Innfactory. Ten developers spent ten days building an appointment scheduling tool for the vaccination centers in the districts of Munich, Rosenheim and Traunstein. Codes are sent to the vulnerable groups so that the vaccination centers can work smoothly. Citizens willing to be vaccinated can use these codes to book an appointment easily and online and are then automatically assigned to a booth.
In future, the district administration office will also be able to register GPs, who will then also be able to book appointments using the tool. The Rosenheim district administrator is very pleased with the software. "With the digital solution, the InnFactory enables an orderly test procedure and long waiting times are avoided," says District Administrator Otto Lederer (CSU). "It also prevents large gatherings of waiting people and is therefore an elementary component in avoiding possible infections through increased personal contact." Up to 750 people a day can be vaccinated in Rosenheim.
Innfactory was founded in 2017 by three students from Rosenheim. The developers' customers include Deutsche Bank and Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Rosenheim-Chiemsee.
