Innfactory builds software for Corona vaccination centers
A Rosenheim-based start-up has built the Cotema appointment scheduling software for Bavarian vaccination centers.
Three Bavarian counties will use the Cotema software from IT start-up Innfactory. Ten developers spent ten days building an appointment scheduling tool for the vaccination centers in the districts of Munich, Rosenheim and Traunstein. In order for the vaccination centers to work smoothly, codes are sent to the vulnerable groups. With these, citizens willing to be vaccinated can easily book an appointment online and are then automatically assigned to a booth.
In the future, the district office will also be able to register GPs, who will then also be able to book appointments using the tool. The district administrator of Rosenheim is very pleased with the software. "With the digital solution, the InnFactory enables an orderly testing process and long waiting times are avoided," says District Administrator Otto Lederer (CSU). "In addition, it prevents a larger accumulation of waiting people and is thus an elementary component to avoid possible contagions through increased personal contact." In Rosenheim, it should be possible to vaccinate up to 750 people a day.
Innfactory was founded in 2017 by three Rosenheim students. The developers count Deutsche Bank and Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Rosenheim-Chiemsee among their customers.
