Start-ups from Saxony can apply for corona aid here until New Year's Eve

The state of Saxony has supported 94 start-ups to date via the Corona Start-up Aid Fund. Start-ups can still apply for the current corona aid until December 31.
The state of Saxony is taking stock of its coronavirus start-up aid fund: the state-owned Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen has so far invested 39.87 million euros in start-ups affected by the crisis. A total of 94 young companies have received support from the Corona Start-up Relief Fund to date, including PCM Energy, Tech & Life Solutions and Nevi. A total of 152 requests had been received by December 22.
The state's Corona Start-up Aid Fund supports the companies with silent and subordinated investments of up to two million euros. The state of Saxony has a number of requirements for the start-ups receiving support: the start-ups must be based in Saxony or be primarily active there. Only young companies that have run into liquidity difficulties due to the coronavirus pandemic will be supported. The founders or shareholders must have an equity stake of ten percent in their company. In addition, the start-ups must already have a prototype of their product and meet sustainability criteria.
Start-ups can apply for corona aid until December 31. The application form can be downloaded from the website of Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen.
