Students who have completed their Bachelor's degree can apply for a gap year program until mid-January 2022. Participants complete three internships in the start-up sector.

The Munich-based start-up Picus Capital has launched a gap year program for students who have completed their bachelor's degree. The venture capital company offers three consecutive internships in the start-up sector as well as mentoring programs and networking meetings.

The entire program lasts seven to nine months, depending on which of the four areas the participants choose. During three-month internships with the Picus Pre-Seed Team or the Seed Series A Team, they will get to know the investor perspective. The venture capital company also arranges three-month internships with start-ups from its portfolio. These include Sento, Personio and Finn, for example. Participants can also spend four weeks interning at the non-profit organization 264 Education.

"The Picus Venture Year offers a unique interdisciplinary experience in the entrepreneurial ecosystem," says Robin Godenrath, Founding Partner at Picus Capital. Students from all disciplines can apply until January 16, 2022 via the Picus website.
