Compado makes more profit

According to its own figures, the tech platform has increased its gross profit by 50% compared to the previous year.
The Berlin-based start-up Compado has published its latest figures. According to the company, the start-up's gross profit increased by 50% last month compared to the same month last year. The start-up was also able to score in terms of employee growth, now employing 110 people instead of 90.
Andreas Hoogendijk and Emanuel Hoch founded Compado in Berlin in 2017. The start-up focuses on driving forward the acquisition of new customers for companies. The company is active in areas such as digital supermarkets and language learning services. For these, it finds potential customers via advertising banners, for example, and aims to bring users to the companies. The start-up is paid per delivered customer.
The start-up recently expanded its portfolio and is now also active in the area of quick delivery supermarkets. These include Gorillas, Flaschenpost and Flink, for example. Emanuel Hoch, Chief Product Officer at Compado, says: "We were able to achieve the record profit in July in particular thanks to our pay-per-customer business model, which significantly reduces the waste of advertising money in online marketing."
