Crowdinvesting: etepetete GmbH raises 1.79 million euros

The company etepetete GmbH, which specializes in rescued organic fruit and vegetables, was able to collect an investment sum of 1.79 million euros as part of a crowdfunding via Econeers.

Munich - The Munich-based company etepetete GmbH, which specializes in compiling subscription boxes with rescued organic fruit and vegetables, successfully completed a crowdfunding round via Econeers in February 2023. A total of 812 private investors were enthusiastic about the business idea and subscribed a total amount of 1,793,000 euros.

It is now up to us to make the etepetete subscription models even more accessible, attractive and, above all, individualized with optimized digital processes.

Since 2015, etepetete has been fighting against food waste and campaigning for sustainable nutrition. The company's profitability is confirmed by the continuous rise in prices for fruit and vegetables in food retail and its focus on climate-friendly processes in the agricultural sector. With the investment amount raised, the company will drive forward the individualization of fruit and vegetable boxes as well as the digitalization of packaging and shipping processes in order to contribute to a more sustainable future.

Investors not only participate in a food rescue concept, but also benefit from a bond with a fixed interest rate of 8 percent per year and a profit share in proportion to their stake. This investment enables them to achieve both environmental and financial benefits. The high response to crowdinvesting underlines the growing interest in sustainable and profitable investment opportunities.

etepetete GmbH was established by the founders Christopher Hallhuber and Georg Lindermair. The young company from Munich actively campaigns against food waste and offers a subscription model. With their concept, they deliver fresh organic food directly from the field to your doorstep and offer a variety of food boxes in different sizes.
