The fintech from Hamburg wants to be more sustainable than its competitors. To this end, it has now raised more money from private investors.

Fintech Tomorrow has raised a total of eight million euros from private investors. The money was raised within 24 hours and came from more than 6,400 people in total. According to the start-up, the average investment amount was 1,250 euros. This is the second time Tomorrow has closed a financing round via crowd investing.

However, unlike when buying shares, private investors do not receive shares that can be traded on a stock exchange, for example. Instead, they receive digital securities that are issued via the Wiwin investment platform. According to Tomorrow, these securities will bear interest at five percent. If the start-up is ever sold or goes public, investors will also receive a stake, the Hamburg-based company promises.

The company, which was founded in 2018 by Inas Nureldin, Jakob Berndt and Michael Schweikart, has already raised money from the crowd in the past. They are thus following an increasingly popular trend of crowdfunding. At the time, Tomorrow received three million euros from around 2,000 investors.
