Doozer breaks 800 million euro barrier in construction volume

The platform connects clients and tradespeople. The aim is to speed up property renovation processes.

According to Doozer, it has reached a new milestone. By September 2022, the company had processed a construction volume of more than 828 million euros. Private investors and housing companies have renovated over 125,000 apartments using the platform.

Nicholas Neerpasch founded Doozer in 2014. The founder has developed a platform designed to facilitate the refurbishment of properties. Customers can use the platform to enter their home details and then receive prices for refurbishment services. The refurbishment orders can be placed directly with a network of tradespeople. "In times of a shortage of skilled workers, this is a real relief," says Carsten Petzold, Managing Director of Doozer. "But tradespeople also feel the benefits, as they no longer have to schedule time for initial consultation appointments or the preparation of quotations." This creates advantages for everyone involved.

The company currently has 38 employees. Doozer's customers include investors, portfolio holders, housing companies, property managers, asset management companies, cooperatives and local authorities. According to the company, it currently manages contracts for several hundred thousand residential units.
