Doozer breaks 800 million euro barrier in construction volume

The platform connects clients and craftsmen. The aim is to accelerate real estate renovation processes.

Doozer says it has reached a new milestone. By September 2022, the company had handled a construction volume of more than 828 million euros. Private investors and housing companies have redeveloped more than 125,000 apartments with the platform.

Nicholas Neerpasch founded Doozer in 2014. The founder has developed a platform that aims to facilitate the redevelopment of real estate. Through the platform, customers can enter their apartment data and then receive prices for refurbishment services. The renovation jobs can be awarded directly to a network of craftsmen. "In times of a shortage of skilled workers, this is a real relief," says Carsten Petzold, CEO of Doozer. "But craftsmen also feel the benefits, as they no longer have to schedule time for initial consultation appointments or the preparation of offers." This would create benefits for all parties involved.

Currently, the company has 38 employees. Doozer's clients include capital investors, portfolio holders, housing companies, property managers, asset management companies, cooperatives and municipalities. The company says it currently manages contracts for several hundred thousand residential units.
