Getnow apparently saved from insolvency

The food delivery company Getnow has been taken over by a new investor. Deliveries are set to resume in the coming days.
The Munich-based start-up Getnow has been taken over by LIS, a consultancy firm for the logistics industry. This was announced by insolvency administrator Max Liebig. Getnow had to file for insolvency in October after a financing round failed and the start-up ran out of money as a result. According to Liebig, there were a large number of interested parties for the insolvent company. "With the transfer to the new investor, Getnow has the chance to get back on a financially solid footing and continue to play a good role in the growth sector of food delivery services," says insolvency administrator Max Liebig.
Getnow customers were able to order groceries from Metro, which the start-up delivered on the same day in Berlin, Munich, Essen, Frankfurt, Hanover and Düsseldorf. Operations are expected to resume in the next few days.
