In the evaluation of employee reviews on Kununu and Glassdoor, N26 scores the worst among financial start-ups.

The IT finance magazine has compiled a ranking based on employee reviews on the employer review platforms Kununu and Glassdoor, in which the neobank N26 ranks last in terms of employee satisfaction. On Glassdoor, 493 employees rated the start-up with an average of 3.4 out of 5 stars, while on Kununu 143 employees gave it an average of just 2.7 stars. This gives N26 a rating of 3.24 stars and puts it at the bottom of the list of German fintechs.

Tax software provider Taxdoo took first place in the ranking with a rating of 4.7 stars. Berlin-based fintech Zeitgold came third with 4.6 stars, closely followed by Neobank Kontist with 4.56 stars. The last places are taken by digital banking provider Fidor (3.39), Finleap (3.36) and N26 (3.24). To ensure a fair evaluation, the ratings were weighted based on the votes cast.

Glassdoor is a US provider with an international presence, while Kununu is a German platform. Both providers allow employees to rate their employer based on criteria such as salary, corporate culture, inclusion, prospects and work-life balance.
