Discover how heynanny successfully meets the demand on the Austrian market with its digital platform for flexible and insured child and senior care and has now been recognized as a top innovation.

Berlin, 07.03.2024 - The Federal Ministry of Economics has recognized heynanny as one of the outstanding innovations in Germany. This comes shortly after the successful launch in Austria, which represents an important step for the company to go international.

Innovation policy of the Federal Ministry of Economics

The innovation policy of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWK) aims to strengthen innovative power in Germany and promote SMEs in the areas of research and digitalization. In view of the constantly changing technological landscape, the ministry emphasizes the need to invest in research and training in order to make companies competitive and promote long-term economic growth. The BMWK's strategy is based on innovation-friendly framework conditions and market-oriented funding programs, with a focus on the principle of "from the idea to market success". The aim is to strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises in particular in key future technology fields through open-topic and technology-agnostic funding approaches in order to consolidate and further expand Germany's leading position among the innovation nations. The effectiveness of these programs is regularly presented to the German Bundestag in reports. As part of this innovation policy, a total of six outstanding innovators have currently been honored.

Support solution as a corporate benefit

Since its launch in Austria on January 1, 2024, heynanny has received positive feedback from the entire market. This underlines the high demand for flexible and insured childcare and eldercare solutions in the DACH region. The platform enables companies to create attractive working conditions and at the same time relieve the burden on parents and their relatives by offering childcare solutions as a corporate benefit.

Founding investor allygatr remains enthusiastic

The selection and expansion show the clear commitment and skills of the team. Anna Schneider and Julia Kahle demonstrate how to scale innovative solutions across borders.

Benjamin Visser, founder and CEO of allygatr

As a founding investor of heynanny, allygatr already completed a successful seed round with 1.6 million euros last year. This enabled heynanny to launch an educational consulting service called Care-Guide. This offers employees an all-in-one solution with monthly webinars and individual advice from educators and psychologists.
