Pioneering force receives 750,000 euros

The company has successfully completed a crowd-investing campaign - and apparently received even more money than expected.
The start-up Pionierkraft, which is based in the Munich Technology Center, has raised more money in a crowd-investing campaign than its original target. As 80 percent of the original funding volume was reached in a short space of time, the company increased the limit to 750,000 euros. The company also reached this target - and in just 30 hours, as the website Munich Startup reported.
The start-up now wants to invest the money in its sales and development team. Pionierkraft had already landed a seven-figure investment in a financing round in September. The money came from existing investors Hans Hubschneider, Ralf Hasler, Jan Czichos and the investment firm EIT InnoEnergy. The new investors are Eva Brucherseifer, Felix Mielke, Gregor Breidenstein and Mike de Saldanha.
Pionierkraft wants to make it possible for self-produced electricity to be shared with neighbors or tenants, for example. This is intended to work purely locally and without the use of public grids, for example. The start-up's declared aim is to make new solar systems more worthwhile, both financially and in terms of efficiency. The company was founded by Nicolas Schwaab and Andy Eberhardt.
