2 million euros pre-seed for experial

Cologne/Wuppertal, March 27, 2025 - The deep tech startup experial has closed a pre-seed funding round of 2 million euros. The round was led by Capnamic, with participation from xdeck as well as renowned angel investors, including Professor Bernd Schmitt from Columbia University. The company plans to use the funds to further develop its AI-powered digital twins to provide companies with more accurate and faster market analysis.
AI-supported simulation instead of traditional surveys
Traditional market research methods are often time-consuming, costly and prone to bias. experial offers an alternative solution: digital twins of target groups that simulate consumer behavior, demographic patterns and purchasing decisions - without using personal data. This enables companies to carry out market tests, campaign analyses and product feedback in real time.

Real-time market research for greater efficiency
Traditional surveys are often prone to errors, as participants give inaccurate answers or are less motivated. experial's simulation-based analyses reduce these biases and are up to 100 times cheaper than conventional methods. While traditional studies take weeks to complete, experial delivers reliable findings in real time. This enables companies to react more quickly to market changes and optimize their decision-making processes.
Expansion and technological development
With the funding, experial plans to expand its platform, in particular by adding specialized market research agents who carry out qualitative data analyses, conduct interviews and generate surveys. In addition, the digital twin technology will be further developed, for example through a validity score for evaluating synthetic statements and the analysis of visual content such as social media posts or advertisements.
The company has already acquired well-known customers such as Fressnapf, TDK and Versicherungskammer Bayern. Dr. Nils Rethmeier has also joined the founding team as the new CTO.
