20 million euros for AI-supported neurotherapy goes to nyra health
The Viennese HealthTech nyra health has closed a Series A financing round of 20 million euros. The round was led by Armira Growth, with existing investors such as Wellington Partners, Crane Venture Partners and EVER Pharma participating again.
The capital will be used for international expansion, the further development of the AI technology and the expansion of the platform into a global solution for digital neurorehabilitation.
AI platform already broadly anchored in the care system
The multimodal, MDR IIa-certified "myReha" platform is already being used in over 100 clinics and is part of the standard care provided by Deutsche Rentenversicherung. In addition, more than 28 statutory and private health insurance companies automatically cover the costs, giving around 40 million insured persons access to digital therapy.
This makes nyra health one of the few providers whose digital solution is not only being piloted, but is already structurally integrated into existing care systems.
Gaps in care after hospital stays as a central starting point
Neurological diseases such as strokes or traumatic brain injuries cause considerable follow-up costs, primarily because treatment is often not continued with sufficient intensity after discharge. This is precisely where nyra health comes in: The platform enables continuous treatment from inpatient stay to long-term home therapy.
Everyone who needs treatment after a stroke or other neurological condition should have access to effective, individualized care - regardless of where they live or how well their own care system is set up

Patients continue to train their speech, cognition and motor skills digitally, while therapists can track progress in real time and adapt programs. The aim is to increase therapy density despite a shortage of specialists.
Multimodal AI dynamically adapts therapy
At the heart of the system is an AI that continuously analyzes training data such as reaction times, error profiles and speech patterns. Specially developed language models recognize changes in pronunciation, syntax or word retrieval, for example, and automatically adapt the exercises to performance levels, fatigue and progress.
According to the company, a randomized controlled study shows significantly better improvements in cognitive and language skills compared to standard therapy.
At the same time, the "nyra insights" platform supports professionals with management, documentation and therapy planning, thereby reducing administrative effort.
Growth in DACH and preparation for the US market
nyra health intends to use the financing to further expand its market position in German-speaking countries, connect additional clinic groups and expand existing reimbursement models in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
At the same time, the company is preparing to enter the US market. In addition, nyra health is investing in new multimodal AI models for diagnostics and therapeutic interaction, which are being developed and validated together with international research partners.
New standard for data-driven neurorehabilitation
The company is positioning itself as a provider of an end-to-end digital infrastructure for neurological therapy - from acute treatment to rehabilitation and long-term aftercare. The combination of clinical evidence, AI-supported personalization and integration into existing care systems is intended to make digital neurotherapy scalable.
