Aampere receives 1.6 million euros in investments
The e-mobility start-up Aampere has completed a financing round of 1.6 million euros. The aim is to scale the digital platform for used electric cars across Europe. The round is led by Trind Ventures, Estonia. Other investors include Gimic Ventures and several business angels from the mobility sector.
Fragmented market
The market for used electric vehicles in Europe has been highly fragmented to date, characterized by analogue processes, manual procedures and isolated national solutions. This is where Aampere comes in: The platform offers a fully digital sales process that makes the resale of e-cars across Europe fast, secure and transparent.
Digital sales process within 48 hours
Sellers, private or commercial, can sell their vehicle via the platform in 48 hours. A self-learning algorithm for determining value, a digital condition and history check and integrated vehicle logistics ensure process quality. The best price is determined via a Europe-wide dealer auction and the purchase amount is transferred before collection. The car is collected directly from the seller.
Our platform is the alternative to paperwork, downtimes and a lack of transparency. We automate the resale process, making electric mobility accessible and economically attractive throughout Europe.
Florian Reister, Founder & CEO of Aampere
Strong growth and customer feedback
With over 100 electric vehicles sold per month and 4.9 stars on Google, the platform demonstrates its strong market acceptance. Aampere is growing at 4x per year and plans to further accelerate product development. Florian Reister says,"Aampere stands for the fundamental change of an entire market - fast, data-driven and European thinking."
Financing for European expansion
Aampere will use the fresh capital to further develop the platform and drive expansion beyond Scandinavia and Benelux.
Flo, Max and Niko have built an exceptional team with a clear customer focus and efficiency. We look forward to accompanying Aampere on its path to European scaling.
Taavi Lepmets, Partner at Trind Ventures
We already reported on an extended pre-seed for the startup to €350,000 in the summer of 2023. Private customers in particular are often still very unsure about buying a used electric car. Horror stories about defective vehicles or massive losses in value are circulating, while at the same time there are justified doubts about the condition of the battery. This is a risk that carries a heavy financial burden. If Aampere can overcome these hurdles more transparently, safely and quickly, the platform has an excellent long-term chance of establishing itself as a trustworthy marketplace for used electric cars in Europe.
