Airbank gets $20 million

The Berlin-based fintech successfully closes its Series A funding round and is now looking to expand its team.
Fintech Airbank has raised $20 million. The Series A funding round was led by Molten Ventures, with business angels Bruce Wallace, Guillaume Cabane and Axel Wieandt also contributing capital.
Airbank plans to use the money to expand its team. The startup is developing a financial platform for founders and CFOs to track cash flow and automate payments to handle expenses and speed up accounting. Airbank was founded by Christopher Zemina and Patrick Castro.
Vinoth Jayakumar of Molten Ventures said, "Airbank is clearly the only software-first company we've come across that offers its customers a complete financial management solution that provides better insights and automation."
