Banxware raises four million euros

When Miriam Wohlfarth announced that she was founding a new fintech, expectations were high: four months after its launch, Banxware has now raised four million euros.

Fintech Banxware is only four months old and has now received four million euros in its first round of financing. The British venture capitalist Force over Mass and VR Ventures are leading the round. High-Tech Gründerfonds and several business angels are also involved.

Banxware is a SaaS credit provider for digital platforms. It checks the merchant in the background so that a loan can be disbursed very quickly. "With us, platforms can offer loans and the customer has the money in the bank within 15 minutes. This is a new record time that has not yet been achieved on the market," says Miriam Wohlfarth, founder of Banxware. A partner for a corresponding loan has already been found: Vereinigte Volksbank Raiffeisenbank is providing 100 million euros.

The Berlin start-up has announced that it will soon also be offering bank cards and other financial services. The business is also to be expanded throughout Europe. "We have followed the development of Banxware over the last few months and were very impressed by the team's ability to successfully create and launch the platform in such a short time and in such a challenging market environment," says Timo Fleig, Managing Director VR Ventures.

In addition to Wohlfarth, Jens Röhrborn, Fabian Heiss and Nicolas Kipp are members of the start-up's founding team.
