BETTER CAKEZ secures € 810,000 in second financing round

The Cologne-based food start-up BETTER CAKEZ has successfully completed its second financing round of €810,000. The round was led by KSK-Wagniskapital GmbH. The investment gives the company a tailwind to further advance its mission: to make healthy, surprisingly different cakes accessible to as many people as possible.

From the attic apartment to its own production facility

Founded by Isabelle Forster, BETTER CAKEZ began as a hobby in her small attic apartment. Today, it has become a growing bakery. The vision is to make cakes with hidden vegetables, vegan, gluten-free, without industrial sugar, 100% organic and still sinfully delicious.
