Bringman expands its delivery area

Customers can order groceries from Edeka via the start-up. So far, the Offenburg-based company has been operating in four districts, but now it wants to expand its offering.
The Offenburg-based start-up Bringman wants to expand. Before the end of this year, the cities of Frankfurt, Karlsruhe and Freiburg are to be included in the delivery area. In Freiburg, the offer is to be available as early as August 15. So far, the food delivery company is on the road in Baden-Baden, Lörrach, Ortenaukreis and Rastatt.
The start-up is a partner of Edeka-Südwest. So-called Bringmans take customers' orders via the app, go to the desired store, make purchases and deliver to customers' homes. In this way, the start-up supports regional retailers and producers in particular.
By its own account, Bringman has 30,000 users and has already processed over 15,000 orders. The start-up was founded by Sebastian Fischinger and David Ghassemi in 2020, who are actually managing directors of Offenburg clubs. Together with students from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, they developed the app, which has just been given a new design.
