Customers can order groceries from Edeka via the start-up. The Offenburg-based company is currently active in four districts and now wants to expand its offering.

The Offenburg-based start-up Bringman wants to expand. The cities of Frankfurt, Karlsruhe and Freiburg are to be added to the delivery area this year. In Freiburg, the service will be available from August 15. So far, the grocery delivery service is available in Baden-Baden, Lörrach, Ortenaukreis and Rastatt.

The start-up is a partner of Edeka-Südwest. So-called Bringmans take customers' orders via the app, go to the desired store, shop and deliver to the customer's home. The start-up primarily supports regional retailers and producers.

Bringman says it has 30,000 users and has already processed over 15,000 orders. The start-up was founded in 2020 by Sebastian Fischinger and David Ghassemi, who are actually managing directors of Offenburg clubs. Together with students from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, they developed the app, which has just been given a new design.
