Buena secures 53.4 million euros

The proptech startup Buena has raised a total of 58 million US dollars (approx. 53.4 million euros) in a Series A financing round. The round was led by GV (formerly Google Ventures). Other investors include 20VC, Stride and the German early-stage investor Capnamic.
Buena intends to use the fresh capital to further develop its AI-supported software, which already manages over 60,000 residential units. The company is also planning a nationwide expansion within Germany.
A platform for digital real estate management
Buena's mission is to make property ownership simpler and more accessible, with a focus on digital processes. The startup automates central administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and annual financial statements using artificial intelligence to increase efficiency and reduce error rates.
Buena is using this technology to address a fragmented market environment. According to Datenmarkt.de, there are over 30,000 property management companies in Germany with an average of just five employees, many of which are still working with software from the pre-cloud era.
AI roll-up strategy ensures rapid growth
Since 2023, Buena has been pursuing an "AI roll-up strategy" in which small property management companies are acquired, digitalized and integrated into its own platform. The company has already completed over 20 acquisitions. That's an average of two per month.
Buena is bringing technology to an area that was previously largely offline. With a product-centric mindset, operational excellence and an AI-supported M&A strategy, this is a company that is rethinking the industry.

This approach not only enables economies of scale, but also a significantly better customer experience, as the company emphasizes. Sales grew by over 300% in 2023 and even by over 500% in 2024. There is also a waiting list of 5,000 other owners waiting to work with Buena.

Buena's rapid growth also raises questions about its operational resilience. On its website, the company promises a"direct extension" and a hotline that can be reached around the clock"Our hotline is there for you around the clock when you need it. Literally". However, when we tried to contact the hotline by phone during our research (as of July 23, 2025), we only heard an automated message on the number provided:"Our support hotline is deactivated for the next few weeks as we are working to improve it." In view of the promise of comprehensive customer support, it is clear how challenging it can be to meet the company's own service requirements at this rate of growth.
Support for the next growth phase
The current financing round is intended to drive the further expansion of the platform and operational growth in Germany. A later market entry in the USA is also already being considered. According to Buena, the market potential there is around 650 billion US dollars.
CEO Din Bisevac has a remarkable story: at the age of eight, he was one of Germany's first YouTube stars, learned to program web stores independently at an early age and entered the IT industry at 13. He later became a junior product designer at Buena. Today, he runs the company and is the architect of the roll-up strategy.
I am invested in over 170 companies. If I had to put all my eggs in one basket, it would be Buena and Din.

A look at the investors
- GV (Google Ventures): Alphabet's multi-stage venture fund with over $10 billion AUM, investing globally in AI, life sciences, consumer tech and more.
- 20VC: VC founded by Harry Stebbings with a focus on disruptive technology companies.
- Stride: Early stage VC based in London.
- Capnamic: German VC with a focus on tech start-ups in the seed and Series A phase.
With its platform, M&A strategy and consistent use of AI, Buena has its finger on the pulse of the times: the digitalization of a traditionally analogue service market. The Series A financing underscores the confidence of international investors and marks the next step towards Europe-wide consolidation in the real estate sector.
