Business "hackathon" for female tech founders to start soon

Until July 31, female founders from the tech industry can apply for a three-day workshop and win 25,000 euros if their pitch is successful.
Xathon is a business hackathon sponsored by Henkel dx Ventures for early-stage female founders who have completed their prototype and want to further develop and shape their entrepreneurial mindset and business. It is intended to be a reinterpretation of the elements of the accelerator programs and is designed to provide female founders with the necessary tools, knowledge and expertise. To this end, the program is looking for 100 female founders who are particularly well versed in the areas of sustainability, digital innovation and business technology. Xathon focuses on mentoring and, according to its own information, adapts the three-day event to the individual needs of the female founders and their start-ups.
The main feature of this year's program is the matchmaking concept: from the outset, each participant will be paired with an entrepreneur from the industry they want to change in order to receive personal support, guidance and advice. Participants will also have the opportunity to build a network of VC and angel investors, early-stage and established entrepreneurs. At the end of the three days, the founders pitch the business ideas to investors and can win a total of €25,000 for applicants.
