Christian Reber launches his own fund

The Wunderlist founder set up the Interface Capital Fund together with Blinkist founder Niklas Jansen.
Wunderlist founder Christian Reber has raised a VC fund together with Niklas Jansen, as Finance Forward reported. The fund, called Interface Capital, plans to invest between 300,000 and 500,000 euros per company. In the past, Reber and Jansen have invested capital in the same companies several times, he said. For example, both have invested in crypto startup Pile and e-learning platform Junto.
Previously, Reber only invested as a business angel or in investor Frank Thelen's venture capital fund. Reber has invested in more than 40 startups in the past, including the note-taking app Notion or the e-bike rental company Dance. The Interface Capital fund is said to have been active since this summer. Until now, however, the project has intentionally remained under the radar, he said. Among Interface Capital's first investments is Heidelberg-based startup Paretos. The startup has developed an analytics tool to help companies make business decisions.
