Classiq secures 110 million US dollars

Classiq further expands its platform for quantum applications with a $110 million Series C round
TEL AVIV, May 2025 - Israeli deep-tech company Classiq has closed a $110 million Series C funding round - the largest funding round for a pure-play quantum software company in the world to date.
The round was led by Entrée Capital, with participation from Norwest, NightDragon, Hamilton Lane, HSBC, Phoenix, Samsung Next and numerous existing and new investors. This brings the total volume of Classiq's financing to 173 million US dollars.
Focus: platform expansion, research and international expansion
Classiq intends to use the fresh capital to significantly expand sales, customer support and R&D in order to meet growing market demand. The aim is to establish itself as the global standard platform for quantum applications in business, research and public administration.
We are building the Microsoft of quantum technology. Our software provides the crucial architecture for the development of practical and value-adding applications in the quantum age.
Nir Minerbi, CEO and co-founder of Classiq
Growing importance of quantum computing
Since its foundation in 2020, the start-up has become a key player in the global quantum ecosystem. The company has tripled its number of customers and turnover year on year. Today, dozens of companies and hundreds of academic institutions worldwide use the platform to develop quantum-based solutions.
Customers include BMW, Rolls-Royce, Citi, Deloitte, Mizuho and Toshiba. Classiq also works with technology giants such as Microsoft, AWS and NVIDIA and is an integral part of university curricula worldwide.
Unique technological features
Classiq's platform is currently the only fully scalable enterprise solution for developing production-ready quantum applications. It is based on:
- Abstract modeling instead of manual programming
- Automated conversion into optimized quantum circuits
- Cloud-based deployment
- Hardware independence with support for AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM, IonQ and many more
The low entry barrier is particularly noteworthy: developers and data scientists do not need in-depth knowledge of quantum physics to implement complex programs.
Quantum computing is developing rapidly, and Classiq is a clear pioneer in the software segment. We believe that Classiq has the potential to become a universal operating system for quantum computing.
Avi Eyal, Managing Partner at Entrée Capital
The company relies on an interdisciplinary team of experts with know-how in physics, software engineering, semiconductor technology and compiler construction. More than 60 patents have already been registered with an acceptance rate of 100%.
An important step for the quantum industry
With this record-breaking financing round, Classiq impressively demonstrates its role in the quantum software sector. The investment sends a strong signal to the market: quantum computing is on the cusp of industrial application and the start-up provides the software for it.
