DataSpark receives fresh capital to further expand its AI offering and strengthen its market presence. The focus is on product development and targeted marketing measures
Frankfurt / Wiesbaden, August 19, 2024 - The Frankfurt-based company DataSpark, a specialist for AI-supported automation solutions, has secured growth financing in a new financing round. Co-investor is bmh Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen mbH via its fund MBGH Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Hessen. The capital in the mid-six-figure range will be used to expand the product range, hire new employees and strengthen marketing activities.

AI expert for intelligent process automation
DataSpark was founded in 2016 by Robert Drews and specializes in the automation of complex processes in the areas of document processing, voice and image data. The company offers a no-code AI platform that makes it easy to train and deploy AI services. Its products include the "Document AI Service" for analyzing and processing documents, the "Language AI Service" for processing natural language and the "Vision AI Service" for recognizing visual data.
AI-supported automation solutions for companies are currently among the segments with the highest market potential.

DataSpark's solutions are used in various industries. Examples include the insurance industry, where documents such as insurance certificates or premium information are processed automatically, or the construction sector, where complex offers are created. DataSpark's AI technology is also used in the healthcare sector, for example to analyze skin diseases based on photos.
