The software start-up Donna has successfully raised 4 million euros in growth capital. The company intends to use the funding to further develop its technology to reduce administrative tasks in the sales force and enable better, data-driven insights into customer needs.

Relieving the burden on sales representatives through intelligent process automation

Donna is developing an AI-supported platform that relieves sales representatives of repetitive administrative tasks such as documentation, planning and reporting. The aim is to significantly reduce the time spent on administrative tasks so that employees have more time for customer meetings and value-adding tasks.

Sales employees want to spend their time selling instead of searching through CRM systems. Administration can be particularly difficult for sales reps. They spend less time at their desks, so notes and follow-up reports often fall by the wayside.

Donna is the only AI-powered assistance service designed specifically for mobile field service. The solution turns travel time, customer visits and all hours spent on the road into productive sales time by automatically documenting every interaction. This eliminates up to 75% of administrative tasks while significantly increasing CRM usage and data quality. The result: sales deals can be increased by up to 20 %

The round led by Frontline Ventures includes funds such as Pitchdrive, Fortino Capital, WeLoveFounders, Syndicate One, New School and Everywhere Ventures, as well as the involvement of business angels. The new capital will be used to expand the automation functions and further improve the user experience.

In addition to increasing efficiency, Donna is increasingly focusing on data-based insights. In future, the platform will be able to identify customer needs even more precisely, how interactions take place and where there is potential in the sales process. This will provide companies with a sound decision-making basis for strategic measures in the sales force.

Growth course to be continued

The startup plans to use the fresh capital to expand its team, scale the platform in the European market and further develop key AI components. The aim is to provide companies in sales, service and field service with a comprehensive tool for process optimization.
