Drooms buys French proptech

This marks the Frankfurt-based start-up's second acquisition within six months.
Drooms acquires a stake in the French proptech Bazimo. Founded in 2016, the Paris-based proptech develops financial analysis and forecasting tools for the real estate industry. The investment is already Drooms' second corporate investment within six months. Just recently, the startup invested in German proptech Docestate.
Drooms offers a digital platform for handling and managing business processes in the real estate sector. The secure handling of processes is also guaranteed by the location of the servers in Europe. The Bazimo offering expands the platform's functions to include data analysis. The Bazimo technology enables the analysis of service charge management and tenant management.
"We know the industry and the needs of our users. So when we see new solutions on the market that add a lot of value to the sector, we want to target them," said Alexandre Grellier, CEO and founder of Drooms, explaining the acquisition. He founded the company in 2001. According to the company, more than 25,000 companies around the world currently use Drooms' offerings. Among them are the Metro Group, JP Morgan and Rewe.
