Düsseldorf fintech Compeon receives 15 million euros

New investors are Iris Capital, NRW.Bank and Qatar Development Bank.
Financial platform Compeon has successfully closed its Series C financing round. The Düsseldorf-based start-up was able to raise a total of 15 million. New investors include the venture capital company Iris Capital, NRW.Bank and Qatar Development Bank. Existing investors Tengelmann, b-to-v Partners and Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures have also given money. In total, Compeon has already raised 35 million euros, more than any other start-up from Düsseldorf.
"With the funds from this round, we will continue to invest in our growth and consistently expand our market leadership," says Frank Wüller, co-founder and CEO of Compeon. The start-up accepts financing requests from companies, checks for eligibility for funding and acts as an intermediary to lenders. Currently, 300 banks, savings banks and other financial service providers offer financing solutions via the platform.
In total, more than 1.4 billion euros have already been disbursed to companies.
