Former Hermes manager joins Liefergrün

Stephan Böhm will take over as Head of Sales at the logistics start-up from May 1. Three other new managers will also be joining the team.
Four new managers will be working for the logistics start-up Liefergrün from May 1. Stephan Böhm, former Regional Sales Manager Germany North/East at Hermes, will head up sales at the start-up. Niko Uphoff, who previously worked at Wunder Mobility and Veloyo, will become CTO. Rim Breuer , who previously developed logistics concepts at Angel Last Mile GmbH and Liefery, will join the team as Head of Logistics. Fikrete Asslani will also become Head of People.
Niklas Tauch, Managing Director and co-founder, says that the company is pleased and proud to have gained experts in Stefan Böhm, Rim Breuer, Niko Uphoff and Fikrete Asslani who know the market and the challenges of a growing company. "They know exactly how we can improve as a company and how we can improve the entire delivery process."
Liefergrün sees itself as the leading provider of sustainable deliveries in Germany. Founded in 2020 by Tauch, Max Schleper and Robin Wingenbach, the start-up aims to make the last mile of logistics emission-free, fair and socially responsible. The Münster-based start-up relies on cargo bikes and electric vans to achieve this. According to the company, Liefergrün is currently represented in 17 of the 25 largest German cities. It plans to expand to other European cities such as London, Paris and Madrid "in the near future". The start-up recently raised three million euros in a financing round for these plans. The money came from Speedinvest, Norrsken VC and business angels from Tier, Schüttflixx and Klarna.
