In addition to the Viessmann Generations Group, which is joining as a strategic partner, KSK-Wagniskapital GmbH, the European Social Innovation and Impact Fund (ESIIF) and existing investors such as SistaAct GmbH, capacura and NRW.Bank are also participating. The round was supported by FASE, an impact finance consultant.

Their practical and measurable approach to cleaning water not only reduces plastic waste, but also protects one of our most important resources: clean water.

Max Viessmann, CEO and President of the Viessmann Generations Group

The partnership with Viessmann is seen as crucial for further technological development and international scaling.

Focus on global expansion

With the new funds, everwave plans to significantly expand its international projects. New locations are to be established in South East Asia in particular. The company intends to further consolidate its position as one of Europe's leading impact companies in the fields of water quality, waste management and the circular economy.

This is an important signal to the market right now, as sustainability is at risk of falling out of focus in many places. This financing will enable us to significantly expand our international activities.

Technology for avoiding waste in oceans

everwave's mission is clear. Plastic waste should be intercepted before it enters the oceans. To achieve this, the company relies on waste collection boats, barriers, manual clean-ups and AI-supported analyses. In addition, local recycling structures are set up and educational work is carried out.

Since it was founded, everwave has already removed more than two million kilograms of waste from rivers in countries such as Thailand, Cambodia and Albania. The projects are implemented by local teams who also create jobs locally.

Plastic credit system as a business model

A central element is the plastic credit system. Companies can directly finance the recovery of plastic waste by purchasing certificates. One euro corresponds to one kilogram of waste removed from rivers. This creates a transparent model that allows companies to take responsibility for their plastic footprint. The partnership with Viessmann is a milestone in turning responsibility into concrete action and expanding everwave's influence worldwide.
