Former national handball player Martin Strobel advises Betterguards

The technology start-up Betterguards has attracted prominent support. During his active time, Strobel himself used the company's bandages.
The Berlin-based start-up Betterguards is getting more expertise for its expert advice. Former national handball player Martin Strobel will advise the technology start-up from now on. Betterguards develops bandages for - among others - athletes, which in a way function like safety belts for joints. They are supposed to prevent ligament injuries.
"The technology definitely has the potential to have a significant positive impact on the protection and performance of many athletes," says Strobel, who himself has also used ligaments from the Berlin-based start-up during his professional career. Strobel himself used to struggle with numerous ankle injuries.
"We have our first partners who are already using our technology," says Betterguards CEO Jocelyn Robiot. In addition to Strobel, the advisory board includes scientists Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marc Kraft (TU Berlin, medical technology) and Prof. Dr. Steffen Willwacher (Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, biomechanics), as well as business expert Tiago da Silva (startup mentor and former board member of Bauerfeind AG).
