Female Founders Scholarship: More visibility for female founders in Baden-Württemberg
The Female Founders Scholarship is a funding program aimed at women who are founding or have already founded a start-up. The aim is to support female founders in the early phase of their companies financially and also with know-how and a network. It is also about making female-led start-ups more visible and offering them better starting conditions.
Initiators Börse Stuttgart, GIG7 and Encourage Ventures
The scholarship was launched by the Finance Accelerator of the Boerse Stuttgart Group and is awarded in cooperation with GIG7 Female Business and Encourage Ventures e. V.. It is aimed at female-led start-ups with a scalable and innovative business idea.
Pitch opportunity and funding at the Finance Summit
Selected female founders will have the opportunity to pitch at the Boerse Stuttgart Group's Finance Summit on September 18, 2025 at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart and receive funding in the amount of EUR 10,000.
Mentoring, workshops and individual support
The scholarship also offers access to a mentoring network. The participants are accompanied by experienced female entrepreneurs, investors and consultants. They give tips, share experiences and help with important decisions. There are also workshops on the following topics:
- Business model development
- Finding target groups
- Financing & Go-to-Market
- Business development
The scholarship aims to encourage women to implement their ideas and provide them with the right tools to do so.
Breaking down barriers, creating opportunities
It helps to break down barriers, for example in access to capital, visibility in the scene or in building networks. The aim is not only to support female founders, but also to accompany them on their way to market success with practical help and long-term prospects.
Who can take part?
Women who want to found a company or already run a young start-up can take part. The scholarship is open to all sectors, whether technology, sustainability, education or social innovation. Requirements include the level of innovation, scalability and motivation of the team. The start-ups should also be based in Baden-Württemberg.
