Swedish company Fintower, which provides AI-powered financial planning solutions, has raised €1.5 million in an oversubscribed seed funding round. The round was supported by new and existing investors, including Chalmers Ventures, Akka, the Stena family via William Olsson, as well as several entrepreneurs and angel investors. Existing investors such as Almi, Daniel Jonsson (Inet) and Alexander Hars also participated.

AI for consolidated financial planning

Fintower aims to replace traditional spreadsheet-based financial planning, where budgets, forecasts and reports are often created manually and distributed across multiple systems. The platform consolidates this data in one central location and uses artificial intelligence to accelerate analyses and simulate decision-making scenarios.

The demand for modern tools for financial and decision-making support is high. Not everyone who wanted to take part in the round could be considered - this shows that our product meets a real need.

Salman Eskandari, co-founder of Fintower

Founded together with Ehsan Yazdani, Fintower is aimed in particular at companies that need to closely combine financial planning, operational management and growth. The tool focuses on products, sales and personnel, so that financial and operational data are brought together in one system.

Customer base and areas of application

Since the first financing round, Fintower has acquired customers from various industries, including tech & software, credit institutions, retail and energy companies. The companies are characterized by high requirements for order, control and transparency, often in growth-oriented environments with external capital.

The new funds will be used to further develop the product and build a sustainable business model around the existing solution.

"Finance departments are currently undergoing a transformation. Repetitive work is becoming increasingly automated and AI is becoming an analysis and decision-making tool. Our goal is to develop Fintower into the leading platform in the Nordics," says Ehsan Yazdani.

Jonas Bergman, Investment Director at Chalmers Ventures, emphasizes:"Fintower supports high-growth companies in their transition from Excel to intelligent financial planning. With its AI-based platform and a team that combines technical know-how with business understanding, the company is well positioned to scale efficiently and create long-term value."
