Benedict Aicher and Leonhard Fricke founded the start-up in 2020 and are working to optimize the use of construction machinery through software solutions. Flexcavo owns and rents construction machinery to companies. In addition, the founders are developing software that can be used to manage fleets and construction projects.

The personal proximity to construction machinery rental helps to identify and solve the problems of fleet management. By exchanging machine and logistics data, a detailed overview of the fleet and ongoing processes could be mapped, he said. Real-time data collection would result in contractors enjoying economic benefits and saving CO2 through optimized processes.
