Flixmobility restructures management team

The Munich-based company restructures its management and changes its legal form after more than ten years since its foundation.
Flixmobility changes its legal form from a GmbH to an SE and restructures its management at the same time. The new management board is formed by co-founders André Schwämmlein (CEO) and Daniel Krauss (CIO) as well as Christoph Debus. In return, Co-CEO Jochen Engert vacates his post and moves to the Supervisory Board. The current CFO Christian Rummel is leaving Flixmobility.
Christoph Debus will become the company's new CFO in March. Previously, Debus served as CEO of Thomas Cook Group Airlines and as CFO at Condor. "With Christoph Debus, we were able to win over an outstanding industry expert and are very much looking forward to working with him in the future," says Schwämmlein.
Engert, Krauss and Schwämmlein founded Flixmobility in 2013, combining the brands Flixbus, Flixtrain and Flixcharter. The mobility provider's goal is to create an alternative for sustainable and affordable travel. Flixbus alone now connects more than 2,500 destinations worldwide in over 35 countries. Flixmobility claims to have already transported more than 100 million passengers.
