After more than ten years since its foundation, the Munich-based company is restructuring its management and changing its legal form.

Flixmobility is changing its legal form from a GmbH to an SE and restructuring its management at the same time. The new Management Board will be made up of the co-founders André Schwämmlein (CEO) and Daniel Krauss (CIO) as well as Christoph Debus. Co-CEO Jochen Engert is vacating his post and moving to the Supervisory Board. The previous CFO Christian Rummel is leaving Flixmobility.

Christoph Debus will become the company's new CFO from March. Debus was previously CEO of Thomas Cook Group Airlines and CFO at Condor. "With Christoph Debus, we have gained an outstanding industry expert and are very much looking forward to working with him in the future," says Schwämmlein.

Engert, Krauss and Schwämmlein founded Flixmobility in 2013, which combines the Flixbus, Flixtrain and Flixcharter brands. The aim of the mobility provider is to create an alternative for sustainable and affordable travel. Flixbus alone now connects over 2,500 destinations worldwide in over 35 countries. Flixmobility claims to have already transported more than 100 million passengers.
