Gorillas and Alnatura become partners

Through the partnership, the Berlin-based delivery service aims to expand its range of organic products.
The food delivery service Gorillas and the organic retailer Alnatura have agreed on a strategic partnership, as announced by the news service DPA. According to the agreement, the Berlin-based start-up will offer more than 250 Alnatura products in its range from June 10. The two companies previously tried out the collaboration in a pilot project in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The partnership with Alnatura will increase Gorillas' organic product segment to 15 percent. This is a reaction to the wishes of the customers. Currently, 56 percent of orders already contain organic products, he said. "We are not about greenwashing and adding more organic products to the assortment just because of a better image. This is a matter of the heart for us," said Gorillas CEO Kağan Sümer. Sümer admits that customers are just more price-sensitive than before due to inflation. "But organic doesn't automatically mean expensive," the CEO said.
