GRO announces the final closing of GRO Generation I with 150 million euros! This new fund aims to expand geographic reach and investments in B2B software companies
Copenhagen, Denmark, July 1, 2024 - GRO announces the successful closing of its latest fund, GRO Generation I, with a capital volume of 150 million euros. Supported by institutional investors, this target was achieved within just three months of launch, bringing GRO's total assets under management to EUR 1.2 billion.
Target market B2B software companies
Building on the success of the previous GRO fund series, GRO Generation I continues the proven investment strategy and offers the team greater flexibility to work with high-growth B2B software companies in Northern Europe. This fund expands GRO's geographic reach by now including the UK and Ireland in the existing core regions.
By further refining our focus, we aim to exploit a broader value chain and ensure that we do not overlook potential growth and therefore valuable investments in Northern Europe.

Building on a proven model
GRO Generation I is supported by both existing and new investors, reflecting the confidence in GRO's strategic vision and operational capabilities. Lars Dybkjær adds: "GRO Generation will build on the proven GRO model, with a clear thematic focus on B2B software companies that address fundamental societal challenges in the areas of resource efficiency, cybersecurity, energy and digitalization."
GRO Generation I plans to invest in target companies with a minimum annual turnover of around 3 million euros. With a proven operational toolbox, supported by detailed benchmarking data and an experienced team of operators, GRO will support these companies in laying the necessary foundations for sustainable growth.
