Günter Butschek becomes Managing Director at Moove

The former Airbus manager wants to help the start-up bring its electric vans and electric minibuses onto the market by 2023.
Moove brings a new Managing Director on board at the beginning of April: under Günther Butschek, Moove wants to be able to deliver its electric vans and electric minibuses by 2023. Another focus of his work will be the further development of the product portfolio, the business model and future partnerships.
"My motivation is the challenge and the opportunity to play a key role in the development of sustainable last-mile mobility solutions," says Günter Butschek. The business administration graduate previously worked as Managing Director for Tata Motors. There he managed the Indian business and the international markets. He also worked as Global Chief Operating Officer for Airbus. Butschek began his career at Mercedes-Benz in the 1980s. He held various management positions there, including heading up the Mercedes-Benz joint venture Beijing-Benz Automotive.
RWTH Aachen University professor Günther Schuh and his team founded Moove in 2018. Initially, the start-up was a joint venture between E.go Mobile and Zukunft Ventures, a subsidiary of ZF Friedrichshafen. Moove has been an independent company since October 2021. The start-up is working on an all-electric van for the courier and logistics market and an all-electric minibus for passenger transportation.
