Healthcaters closes pre-seed financing round

The Berliners have developed an app for the health management of employees in companies, now they were able to collect a seven-figure sum from DvH Ventures in their pre-seed financing round.

Prevention is better than aftercare, which is also in the interest of one's own employer. The start-up Healthcaters combines these two points in an app that covers company health management. Now the Berlin-based company has raised a seven-figure sum in its pre-seed financing round. It comes from Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures' (DvH Ventures) €60 million Digital Health Fund.

"We strongly believe that their professional approach, expertise and experience will help us move HealthCaters forward in the coming months and years."

Healthcaters' app allows companies to put a health kiosk in the hands of their workers: It collects biometric health data, offers to visit a doctor or provides digital advice. In return, companies can monitor the productivity and health of their employees or use tools to create surveys and their own offers. This is what convinced DvH Ventures: "The founders Tatyana Eliseeva and Lilia Kruse are focused, highly motivated and very entrepreneurial. Combined with their impressive experience and high business and medical expertise, they make it easy for us to invest," says Duc Quyen Tran from DvH Ventures.
