Hive Robotics secures € 2 million pre-seed

The robotics startup Hive Robotics has raised €2 million in an oversubscribed pre-seed round. The financing round was led by b2venture, with VCs and business angels such as Firedrop, Pareto, Matthias Hilpert and Klocke Group also participating. The capital will be used to build up a specialized engineering team and to further develop the technology roadmap for scalable and resilient robotics solutions.
AI-supported platform for multi-domain applications
Hive Robotics is developing an AI-supported platform for autonomous systems that bundles control, sensor technology, localization and secure communication in modular units. This enables unmanned systems, from drones and land vehicles to maritime platforms, to work together seamlessly even in complex and GNSS-interfered environments.
Collaborative robotics for real-life scenarios
The technology is based on an integrated C3 architecture (Command, Control, Connect) and enables collaborative operations across multiple domains. Possible applications range from drone swarms for disaster control and search and rescue missions to the monitoring of critical infrastructure such as pipelines or offshore wind farms.
The next phase of automation will be characterized by millions of unmanned systems. Secure communication, robust architecture and the ability to work together are crucial - and this is exactly where we come in.
Sebastian Mores, CEO and co-founder of Hive Robotics
Billion-dollar market in our sights
The market for robotics and autonomous systems is growing rapidly and is expected to reach double-digit billion sales by 2025. Hive Robotics addresses challenges such as approval in urban areas and integration across different areas of application.
Its approach to command, control and communication closes a crucial gap in the robotics industry. This positions Hive Robotics as an important enabler for the next generation of unmanned systems.
