Jack Wolfskin founder invests in IT start-up Ivicos

The start-up raises 1.2 million euros. The video call program with office atmosphere will be available from August.
The Frankfurt-based tech start-up Ivicos has raised 1.2 million euros in a financing round. Among the investors and new shareholders is Ulrich Dausien, founder of the fashion brand Jack Wolfskin. He has raised just under half of the financing round, writes the FAZ. There is no information about the remaining investors.
Ivicos is working on a video call program that creates as real an office atmosphere as possible. The program ivCampus is supposed to facilitate hybrid work and stands out from its competitors in that colleagues can see each other permanently, which also allows spontaneous meetings like in an office. A team of eleven employees is working on the technology, 20 companies are currently testing the video call program, and sales are scheduled to start in August. Dausien likes the idea of working together digitally "also on a human level" and that the data remains in Germany, he tells the FAZ. "Ulrich Dausien wants to enable medium-sized companies in particular to be internationally competitive. A modern working environment like ivCampus improves the attractiveness and thus the accessibility of talent and the cohesion within the company - even if you are not in the same building," Ivicos co-founder Holger Müller-Kästner told SAZ Sport.
