Judith Williams invests in Bedrop

The Palatinate-based start-up for bee products was able to convince the DHDL investor. She is said to have invested a mid-six-figure sum in the company.

Good Brands are also investing in the company. The exact amount of the investment is not known. However, Williams' investment is said to be a mid-six-figure sum.

Betül Yönak-Bein and Florian Bein founded Bedrop in 2020. The company is based in Landau and employs three people. The start-up sells health and beauty products made from the secretions of bees. In addition to manuka honey, these include royal jelly and propolis, i.e. nectar and resins. Propolis can be used to treat neurodermatitis, acne and warts, for example, while royal jelly is sold as an anti-ageing product.

"We are looking forward to working together as partners and think that the synergy and the large network with your expertise will be very beneficial for our joint company," says co-founder Florian Bein to the new investors. The founders want to use the new capital to expand the workforce and drive forward sales.
