Junique wins Zalando manager

As of April, the Myposter subsidiary will be headed by Philippa Hasse, who is to expand the poster and art store with her e-commerce platform.

Junique gets a new managing director. On April 1, Philippa Hasse will take over the management of the poster store. Hasse has worked in various positions for Zalando in recent years. Her e-commerce experience will now be put to good use, the company said.

Junique, founded in 2014 by Lea Lange and Marc Pohl, primarily sells framed posters and pictures. Since the end of last year, the start-up has been part of the Myposter Group. Behind the company are brothers René and Marc Ruhland, who started their mail order business back in 2011. In addition to its own store and the latest acquisition Junique, the Munich-based group's sales channels also include Kartenliebe and Artphotolimited.

Junique will continue to exist as its own brand after the acquisition, with around 70 employees working at the Berlin site. "Philippa knows the e-commerce business very well and has strategically developed many businesses as the responsible executive," says Myposter CEO René Ruhland about the commitment. The company has ambitious plans for Junique, which Hasse will now implement.
