Karomia secures 2 million euros

Karomia has completed a financing round to further expand its own ESG reporting platform. The solution produces near-finished, CSRD-compliant reports in hours.

Ghent, February 24, 2025 - Belgian software startup Karomia has closed a €2 million financing round. The round was led by Entourage, the imec.istart Future Fund and the imec.istart Fund. The company intends to use the fresh capital to further develop its AI-supported platform for creating CSRD-compliant ESG reports.

Karomia's platform automates the entire reporting process and produces almost finished reports in just a few hours - instead of several months as was previously the case. The AI analyzes company data, identifies gaps and ensures complete traceability of all information.

Growing demand for CSRD solutions

Karomia already has over 45 customers, including both large companies and SMEs. The platform supports companies in meeting the growing requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Regulatory changes, such as the EU Omnibus Package, are also taken into account in real time.

Investment for expansion and new markets

Karomia plans to use the new funding to further expand the platform and, in particular, to support smaller companies that will have to comply with the VSME standard in the future. In addition, new tools will be developed to support companies not only in reporting, but also in developing comprehensive sustainability strategies.
