Kickscale successful with 2.1 million euro seed round

More data protection, more languages, more Europe: Kickscale brings sales intelligence platform to European level.

Vienna, May 14, 2025 - The Austrian AI startup Kickscale has closed a seed financing round of 2.1 million euros. The company intends to use the fresh capital to build a European alternative to US-dominated sales intelligence platforms such as Gong or Salesforce. The round was led by aws Gründungsfonds, with participation from altitudeVC, Calm/Storm Ventures and the Carinthian Venture Fund.

Platform for AI-supported sales intelligence

Kickscale is developing an AI platform that analyzes real and virtual customer and sales conversations and generates actionable insights from them. The aim is to make sales processes more efficient, improve forecasts and replicate successful sales patterns. In contrast to US solutions, Kickscale is designed specifically for European SMEs and includes data protection compliance, multilingualism and cultural relevance.

Over 100 customers in Europe and Japan

Since its launch in 2024, Kickscale has already acquired over 100 B2B customers - including companies such as bookingkit, KK Company, Haufe Group, ApprovalMax and HILL International. The platform has helped customers increase sales deals by up to 24% and save around 40 hours of administrative work per salesperson per month.

Investors back European technology leadership

In addition to institutional investors, well-known personalities are also supporting the round - including Julius Göllner (ex-CEO of Zalando Lounge), Michael Kamleitner (social media entrepreneur) and Bitmovin founders Stefan Lederer and Christopher Mueller.

Sales processes in Europe are very different from those in the US: longer relationship-building phases, multilingual communication, differentiated data protection requirements. Many US platforms fail to meet these requirements.

Kickscale plans to use the new funds to further develop its AI models, expand its product platform and drive forward its expansion into the Middle East and Asia.
