koppla raises six million euros for construction schedule digitization

Newion and Brandenburg Kapital lead financing round for B2B SaaS from Potsdam
Berlin/Potsdam, May 19, 2025 - Potsdam-based B2B SaaS startup koppla has closed a six million euro financing round. The round is led by Dutch VC Newion and Brandenburg Kapital, with participation from existing investors Earlybird, Coparion and HPI Ventures. The aim: to fundamentally digitalize scheduling in construction.
With the fresh funding, koppla intends to further scale its product, sales and team in order to provide the construction industry with a modern, networked scheduling tool - intuitive, collaborative and in real time.
Industry solution for a central construction problem
For years, the construction industry has been considered under-digitalized, especially in the area of schedule management. Koppla is tackling this problem with a SaaS platform that not only maps schedules, but also updates them dynamically, makes them usable on mobile devices and connects project participants. The target groups are general contractors, planners and architects.
The demand for modern, easy-to-use tools is huge.
Lasse Steffen, Co-Founder koppla
Co-founder Marco Trippler adds: "We want to enable construction companies to plan deadlines realistically and manage them precisely."
New investors with industry proximity
In addition to institutional investors, koppla is also bringing targeted industry expertise to the cap table: business angels Martin Rodeck, Thorsten Krauß, Ingo Holz and Andreas Beckmann are providing support with their expertise in construction, PropTech and project development. The start-up benefits not only financially, but also strategically.
Traditional tools lead to expensive mistakes. koppla solves the problem with a flexible, transparent approach - directly from the construction site

Growth based on strong customer names
Since its foundation in 2020, koppla has acquired over 100 customers, including well-known players such as Implenia, Max Bögl and Leonhard Weiss. More than 600 construction projects are already running on the software. The aim is to make the platform the central standard tool for construction scheduling.
"We invested in koppla because the solution addresses key customer problems. The industry is ripe for change," explains Leopold Lindner from Newion.
The start-up was founded in Potsdam in 2020 and develops cloud-based, collaborative scheduling software for the construction industry. The solution supports construction projects in all phases with intuitive usability, real-time updates and mobile construction site connectivity.
