lytra completes pre-seed financing
The Munich-based industrial tech startup lytra has successfully completed its pre-seed financing round. The round was led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), with other investors also participating. With the fresh capital, lytra is driving forward its mission to transform the service and after-sales area of manufacturing companies into an automated and scalable revenue driver with the help of an AI-based operating system.
Service business as a strategic growth driver in the industry
The service sector offers considerable potential for manufacturing companies: it can account for up to 50 percent of total sales and generally has significantly higher margins than traditional new business. At the same time, requirements are increasing due to ever more complex machines, higher customer expectations and the growing shortage of skilled workers.
Scalable processes, better use of existing knowledge and a high degree of automation are required to leverage this potential in the long term.
AI operating system automates central service processes
lytra is developing an AI Operating System for Manufacturing Service that uses various AI agents to automate central service processes. These include, among others:
- Spare parts orders
- Planning service calls on site
- Answering technical inquiries
The AI agents are integrated end-to-end into the customer's IT systems and are based on existing expert knowledge. This means they can be used productively from day one. Service employees are relieved and can concentrate on complex cases, while processing times for customers are significantly reduced.
Focus on growth in the German SME sector
Following successful pilot projects, lytra plans to use the new capital to drive forward the expansion of its customer base in the German SME sector in 2026.
The successful completion of the pre-seed financing is an important milestone for us. With the fresh capital, we want to become the preferred partner for medium-sized manufacturing companies in the service and after-sales business in 2026.
