Main Capital Partners sells WeFact to Visma

Main Capital Partners has successfully completed the sale of WeFact, a leading provider of e-invoicing and preparatory accounting, to Visma. Visma is one of the world's largest software providers for accounting, payroll, invoicing and HR and is expanding its position in the Dutch SME segment with this acquisition.

WeFact as a fast-growing pre-accounting platform in the Benelux region

Since Main joined the company in January 2023, together with founder and CEO Roel Korting, WeFact has developed from a rapidly scaling e-invoicing solution into a comprehensive pre-accounting platform. Under the joint leadership, it has succeeded in expanding its unique market position in the Dutch accounting ecosystem, driving expansion into Belgium and making an important strategic addition with the acquisition of competitor FactuurSturen.nl.

Triple ARR and significantly increased market presence

In less than three years, the company has tripled its annual recurring revenue, significantly increased its market presence and sustainably strengthened its position in the pre-accounting segment. The growing team supports entrepreneurs and SMEs in handling administrative processes simply and reliably.

Visma takes over and opens up new growth paths for WeFact

The integration into the Visma Group gives WeFact direct access to a broad user base, including the Yuki and Nmbrs platforms. It also opens up new opportunities for product networking, stronger go-to-market leverage and additional scaling at home and abroad.
