Mediform secures 1.5 million euros

With MediVoice, Mediform wants to make patient communication easier for medical practices and is growing by 20% per month. The startup is now raising further capital and preparing for Series A.

Karlsruhe, May 8, 2025 - The HealthTech startup Mediform has raised additional capital in the amount of 1.5 million euros. The fresh funding comes from existing and new business angels and increases the total capital invested to over 3 million euros. The aim is to scale the AI-based telephone assistant MediVoice in German-speaking countries. A Series A financing round is currently in preparation.

Scaling up to 600 medical facilities planned

MediVoice, the company's central solution, uses artificial intelligence to automate call answering in doctors' surgeries and medical facilities. The system is to be used in at least 600 facilities by the end of 2025. Mediform is currently recording monthly customer growth of around 20 percent. Thanks to interfaces to common calendar and practice management systems, around 50,000 practices in Germany can theoretically already be connected directly.

We see the autonomous automation of telephone assistance as a clear lever for relieving the burden on practice teams.

The strong demand in the market underlines the potential of the product, Krause continues: "Especially in an industry that relies heavily on confidentiality and accessibility, a secure and automated solution like MediVoice is an indispensable step forward."

Mediform was founded in 2022 as a spin-off of Innoopract Informationssysteme GmbH, which has more than two decades of experience in security-critical software development in the healthcare and financial sectors. Under the leadership of CEO Jochen Krause and COO Daniel Kämmerer, the company pursues the mission of shaping the digital transformation in medical practices in a practical and data-secure manner.

Focus on growth, self-service and system integration

Following the successful launch in 2024, Mediform is now focusing its strategy on scaling and market penetration. The expansion of sales structures and the targeted approach of new customer groups are at the heart of this, as is the further development of self-service functions. These enable medical practices to adapt MediVoice independently and flexibly to individual requirements. Mediform is also investing in AI-supported internal processes to increase efficiency in sales, support and onboarding.

Data protection and regulatory security as a competitive advantage

A key unique selling point of MediVoice is its consistent focus on the requirements of the healthcare sector. The solution already meets the standards of Section 393 SGB V for cloud data processing in the healthcare sector with the C5 certificate it has received. This positions Mediform as a trustworthy provider in a highly sensitive market environment in which data protection and reliability play a central role.
